IZCWG & ITWG: Whole Site Sustainability – Horiba Mira Showcase
Jan 22 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

REGISTER NOW – Next IZCWG Meeting 22 January – Site Visit to HORIBA MIRA!
The next meeting of the Innovative Zero Carbon Working Group will showcase the wide range of climate innovation going on at MIRA Tech Park in Nuneaton – work that has recently won the accolade of the Kings Award for Sustainable Development.
HORIBA MIRA provides vehicle manufacturers and suppliers with world-class vehicle engineering, test and development consultancy. Their 800+ acre technology park currently hosts over 40 tenants in the vehicle sector, where all are working together on the challenge of zero carbon vehicles. As a site, the Technology Park is also working to reduce their energy consumption, reduce its waste, and explore and mitigate a number of unintended consequences of the energy transition in transport.
The working group meeting will showcase the work of MIRA Tech Park tenants on vehicle decarbonisation and will hear from colleagues across HORIBA MIRA about the different aspects of their work. The Tech Park will then set out some of the challenges they still face that they hope to collaborate on to address, before leading a tour of the site. A networking lunch will complete the morning.
The main part of the meeting will be 10-12 as usual, although people may arrive from 9.45 to network. Lunch will be at 12.
