Due to complete in First Quarter of 2024, this project is a product of a partnership between Bruntwood SciTech and the University of Birmingham.
BHIC has been billed as ‘A World-Leading, Connected Healthcare Technologies Campus’ and been recognised by the Government as one of six Life Science Opportunity Zones, critical in delivering key themes of the Life Sciences Vision, supporting the growth of life science clusters; linking businesses directly to the NHS; and delivering data enabled healthcare innovation.
We know that Birmingham Health Innovation Campus will offer best-in-class health, life science and innovation facilities along with a range of laboratory and office space for forward-thinking businesses, creating a hub for collaboration with a wide range of clinical and academic experts.
We ask Cliff Dennett, Associate Director, Bruntwood SciTech what can be expected from the development and how the Life Science and Health Tech community (SMEs in particular our members included), can benefit from the campus.
- How can we work together to make access barrier-free?
- How can we ensure the longevity and sustainability of the campus for years to come, and for it to be a thriving part of our region’s healthtech eco-system?
- How will the campus benefit Birmingham’s people and environment?
- How will the WMHTIA programme be of benefit to participants and how will this contribute BHIC ecosystem?
